Morty Silvertongue's Adventures pt2
Just past the entrance Morty came across a pile of bones and some old clothing. Not being shy at looking through rubble and rubbish for anything of value Morty jumped right in sifting through the bits and pieces for anything of value. Removing what looked as the remains of a well weathered cloak, a crypt spider attacked from underneath. Morty being quick witted, lunged with his dagger with lightening speed and slew the spider with ease. Dispatching the spider with ease, Morty considered this tomb did'nt look too dangerous. Though, only being fifty feet into the tomb, you can never be too sure whats around the next corner.
Morty continued searching the tomb, with very little luck in finding anything worth of value. Just when he was considering going back and trying to make another arrangement with the Taxman, Morty came across another pile of rubble and scrap. Upon searching the pile he found a gold coin that definately looked worth its while. Morty thought if he could get a few more it might be enough to pay off the Taxman and he could hopefully make alittle gold out of anything extra he might find in the tomb.
Over the next hour or so of searching the tomb, Morty had found a few more coins and some valuable trinkets he could fence back in town for some gold. Morty cleared the tomb as best he could looking for coins and other trinkets and just when he thought he was done, his senses told him there was more to this tomb than met the eye. Morty decided to heighten his senses and search around for hidden doors or levers. He was sure there was more to the tomb and he was'nt let down. Not long after his searching began he found a door hidden by a statue that decended deeper into the tomb. With baited breathe Morty drew his dagger, gathered shadows around him and blended into the darkness as he decended into the lower bowls of the tomb.
